The south of Tanzania is mostly a destination for the second-time visitor. The south can also be combined with the Serengeti in the north or linked with the west if time and budget allow. The southern circuit includes parks and reserves that can be visited using Dar es Salaam as a starting point. There's Saadani National Park north of Dar, then two hours to the west the little park of Mikumi on both sides of the highway that meanders down to Iringa and Mbeya and eventually to Zambia or northern Malawi. The Selous Game Reserve to the south of Mikumi is great for river experiences on the Rufiji River and also for walking safaris. Udzungwa Mountains National Park is all about forests, waterfalls and weird endemics, while Ruaha National Park just west of Iringa is the gem of the southern circuit.

^{This is combination of three National Park Safari. Mikumi is Tanzania’s fifth-largest national park, with almost guaranteed wildlife sightings. Udzungwa Mountain National Park is one of Tanzania’s most outstanding, pristine, paradise and unique exciting wilderness mountains forested with greatest altitudinal range of forest. Ruaha NP is the largest National Park in Tanzania covering an area of 20226 square kilometers. Ruaha National Park is famous for its herds of elephant and buffaloes. Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Udzungwa Mountain NP

^{You will be picked by your driver at 0600 hrs and start driving to Udzungwa Mountain NP.  You will stop on the way for hot lunch then proceed to Udzungwa. Arrive late afternoon options of village walk in Mwaya village or visiting rubber plantation.

Day 2: Mountain trekking then drive to Iringa Town

^{Wake up for early breakfast then your driver will drive you to the starting point after completes the park formalities. Start walking in this beautiful Park enjoying and experience the stunning natural beauty of the Park. Picnic lunch in the bush then proceed exploring the area including the wonderful Sanje waterfall which is 170m high. You can get a chance to swim in one of the waterfall plunge pools. You will walk up to 1600m above sea level with beautiful view of kilombero valley. You will get the chance to see six species of monkeys include endemic species of Sanje crested mangabey and Iringa red colobus Monkey. This will take about 3 to 4 hrs. After trekking start driving to Iringa for dinner and overnight at Neema Craft Hotel or equivalent.

Day 3: Iringa to Ruaha National Park

^{After early breakfast drive to the Ruaha National Park gate which will take about two and a half hours from Iringa town. Start a full day game drive inside the park until sunset.
A fine network of game-viewing roads follows the Great Ruaha and its seasonal tributaries, where, during the dry season, impala, waterbuck and other antelopes risk their life for a sip of life-sustaining water. And the risk is considerable: not only from the prides of 20-plus lion that lord over the savannah, but also from the cheetahs that stalk the open grassland and the leopards that lurk in tangled riverine thickets. This impressive array of large predators is boosted by both striped and spotted hyena, as well as several conspicuous packs of the highly endangered African wild dog.

Day 4: Ruaha full day game drive

Day 5: Walking safari then drive to Mikumi National Park

^{Wake up early in the morning and start a wilderness walking safari with guidance of an armed ranger which will take two to two and a half hours. Walking safari will give you a particularly intimate feel for African wild. After walking safari you will go back to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast start driving to Mikumi National Park with game drive en route on the direction to the exit gate. Lunch will be on the way. Arrive late evening in Mikumi NP.   Accommodation: Mikumi Tourist Cottage (Inside the Park) or Bastian Camp (Outside the Park). Meal plan: -Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.}

Day 6: Game drive in Mikumi NP then drive to Dar es Salaam
